Winter Programme

Winter Programme

What we do

From September until May our Winter Programme includes evening events with expert speakers and various outdoor events (weather permitting).

Members of the public are welcome to attend.

Events

We host a series of evening events where experts are invited to share their insights on their specialist subject. Topics range from climate change to specifics on animals, to birds, to plants, to insects, to fungus.

Evening events take place on the second Wednesday from September to May.

In addition we organise in early March, a Spring Social Event which is open to the public. This takes place on a Saturday night with a slightly longer presentation than normal & is accompanied by a buffet supper, a raffle & a natural history quiz.

A number of outdoor gatherings are held during the Winter Programme. These include events such as a New Year’s Day Walk and the Spring Flower Walk.
